Spring has sprung, and some local beauties!

My camera is missing. I think I am ready to invest in a second on anyway. It has gone missing in the past when my daughter "borrows" it and forgets to mention it to me. I am trying to continuously ingrain in her that I don't mind if she borrows things, but please ask first.  But I don't want to be too hasty. I may have just misplaced it and not found it yet. That happens sometimes!

Well life in our house, right this minute is very quiet. It is 8AM and All is Well! Son J is still asleep as well as daughter D. Son N and his fiance left about 5:30 AM to go to his work. He is a glass blower and works at his friends studio, which is a pretty crude studio so I have heard. It's more like a small barn with no heat. But it is set up for his glassblowing. I guess today he has to get another tank of oxygen. He uses that for fuel. Some days he has to wait hours for the oxygen tanks to arrive in the place where he gets them. Waiting is such a waste of time! I know I have a hard time waiting many times.

I just got some sad news about our old friends, from where we used to live in Pennsylvania. Their grown son Eddie died. I cannot imagine the torment they are going trough right now and will be going through in months to come. The only comfort I can see is to know that he is out of pain now. They are such nice people. My prayers are with them right now this moment, as are the prayers of all those who know them.

Well.... spring has sprung outside, as the old rhyme goes. "Spring has sprung, the sun has riz, I wonder where the birdies is?"
