Us

My sister gave me the idea of sharing thoughts and ideas on a blog, so we shall see how it goes!
We - my husband and I -have 7 kids between us. They are (in order of age) Lisa (our grown foster daughter who lives in Florida), Rob (Dave's grown son), Dave Jr. (our musician son who lives in the city), Nick (our artist son - a glass blower- who lives up in Maine), Andrew (our grown musician/artist/writer son who still lives at home), Danielle (our 18 year old daughter -just finished high school), and JJ (our youngest son at 11- the athlete of the family). My husband Dave and I live in the North East. He is a pastor. Together we have raised this bunch, and have homeschooled the last three. It's been an interesting life for us. We also fostered many many little ones and a few not so little ones too. --We garden, canoe and kyak on the river, hike, I knit and do cross stitch, and we walk and take care of our two dogs- Mercedes- the rottie/lab mix (11 yrs. old) and Katie -the St. Weiller (St.Bernard/Rottie mix- 9 months old.) There are a few other various pets as well.(See photo of the kids last Christmas.) Well- that's all for now. I'll add some pictures now and then to fill in the blanks.
