The psalmist says to Give thanks in all things. "Shout for joy to the Lord,all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness! Come before him with joyful songs!" Psalm 100:1.
So I will try and see God's beauty in as much as possible today. It's not a hard thing to do living where we do. We have the Delaware River close by, and the forests and just many many things that are good.
The other day we went to one of the local waterfalls with some friends.
This place is called Blue Bridge because you have to cross an old blue bridge to get there.
The kids like to play in the pool at the foot of the falls and swim there too. It's quite a beautiful place.
One neighbor goes there to relax in the water- he has an injured upper arm and shoulder. So I guess it's therapeutic
in more than one way!!
So-- in thinking about being thankful..... I am SO thankful for where we live and the beauty around us!!
