The girls!

This is Katie. Our NINE month old St.Weiler. Innocent looking, isn't she? LOL!! She is precious. But she is still puppy. She still chews quite a lot! She has moved on from shoes and stray socks that the kids leave downstairs (the dogs don't go upstairs), but she does now and then get into the kitchen garbage, boxer shorts from the laundry room, cable cables for the computer, books (my daily devotional!) the woodwork!!!! and a few other odds and ends. She seems to be getting a little better with all this as she gets older. She is still a baby! (We keep telling ourselves this!!)

Sometimes she plays too rough. My 11 yr.old son was out in the yard running the other day.Katie ran up, nipped his butt and jumped on him. He (knowing karate) flipped Katie to the ground, and put a head lock on her!! -I told him that you can't do that with dogs! You could break bones!!!!! He just said- what about me?? - Ei yi yi!!

We take the dogs out in the yard to play with their friend, Clarence is the Standard Poodle who lives behind us. Clarence is a seeing eye dog. His owner is legally blind. He's a great dog, and SO white! I think he's 3 years old now.

When they all get together, they love to run and run and run!! The kids love it!!

I tell you- by the end of the day I am worn out, between the kids and the dogs, ..... and my husband and house!! LOL! Plus a few other things! Makes for a full day!

I wouldn't have it any other way!

(By the way------- it's supposed to rain again today!! Thunder storms.-- Par for the average!! We wouldn't want to get too dried out!! LOL!)
