Who ever invented the bicycle was a brilliant person! All of my kids have loved their bikes. Here is JJ and one of his friends on their bikes.
Here is another friend on his first two wheeler!
And then of course come the stunts they can perform on their bikes!!
Like wheelies!
Wheelies are when a rider lifts up his front wheels from the pavement
and rides a few seconds that way. The higher the lift-- the better!
Do you remember your first bike?
How old were you? Where did you learn to ride?
I remember learning to ride in the yard of our family farm which was
covered with broken clam shells. (We hardly ever wore shoes either!!)
An older girl who lived next door helped me learn to ride. She must
have been very patient!
I just got on a bike the other day after not riding for a LONG time.
It was great! But my eleven year old son said
"Mom! You can ride a bike!!"
"Of course I can!!!!!!!!!!"
