Basketball season has just finished for us!
It was so much fun!
It's really a sport where the parents can cheer for their kids, and the league we're in- Upward Basketball- is a
Christian league so they really guard against any unsportsmanlike behavior of the players. The parents mostly cheer for both sides. It's a lot of fun. By the time the season is over, most of the kids are pretty good!
J even made quite a few baskets!!
(Oh yeah- and I even have learned to keep track of which basket is ours!!)
The kids got to play the coaches one night too! That was great because one of the coaches are really tall and just had to dunk the ball in the basket and could pass all the way down the court with one or two passes! The kids loved it!!

This is one of our favorite sports. I also love that my husband and our son, J, can sit and share time together at home watching the NBA or College Basketball- and that J knows all the professional players and teams. It's cool to hear him say he wants to play pro basketball when he's older!

How fun, and I am a big fan of sportsmanship. I'm glad your league emphasizes that.
