I am on my second cup of tea! It's freezing in here! We are in South Jersey too! Not in Portland, Maine or Vermont! Come on, I am quite upset with the current state of the temperature! (Are you listening up there? Which angel is in charge of the controls up there? You goofed! )
Well.... I wanted to post some pictures of our cantata we had last Sunday at church. We practiced and practiced and practiced, which was very frustrating to me, but the end results were beautiful. The music in the cantata was fabulous! It was entitled "Come Walk With Me."

The Chime Choir |
This is the Chimes Choir that somehow I ended up in. Everyone else is a student, but it is fun and challenging too. Actually, I filled in for a few times in Sept. for absent members, and I am still there!

The Dinner! |
As true Methodists, we had a covered dish dinner afterwards. Yum! It was fabulous too!
My mom made it to the cantata and dinner too. She enjoyed it very much and we enjoyed being with Grand Mom.
So... I do hope it warms up today! It is 9 am and not warm yet! Oh well- time to get going with school, a few chores, etc. Next on the social calendar is soccer practice tonight!
The spring weather is NOT hiding out up here in Vermont, I can assure you of that.
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much for stopping by my site and joining in the tote bag giveaway! Lovely to meet you.
ReplyDeleteWe've got a late spring around here too. But there's hope, as I'm finding the little crocuses are now blooming, even if there is a pile of snow just a few feet further into the shady area.
I love your rosey background....it's bold and beautiful
Wishing you well in tomorrow's draw!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteOh my yes, Bell Choirs are amazing, aren't they? I've never seen one, for real. Only heard them on tv.
Wishing you a warm and happy time with family/friends, this weekend...
Gentle hugs...
