Early Morning Adventures!

Good morning friends. It has been a crisp frosty morning this morning, but it is warming now. It was 37 degrees when I took my granddaughter to the bus stop at the end of our lane! And there was a heavy fog hanging over the lake. Winter is on it's way, but we have been having some warm afternoons in the 60's and 70's this week. Crazy! A few weeks ago we had two wet snows- they didn't last past noon time though. I have to remember to see if my little one's snow boots still fit from last year! (note to self!)

I have had an off kilter morning thus far! I got up at 5- I have been trying to get up then so I can have a little time to get myself together before I wake my granddaughter A at 6-   and my coffee maker wouldn't work. Drats! I enjoy that early morning cup of Joe!
An hour later I discovered that my dear husband had unplugged the power bar that my Mr. Coffee is plugged into to plug in the crock pot yesterday afternoon. - So I fixed a cup of coffee and got my granddaughter in the car and down the lane to the bus. -- when I returned home I refilled my cup and poured in the creamer, only I poured in pear juice by mistake (picked up the wrong tall bottle from the fridge by mistake!)  So now I have a fresh cup of coffee with my RIGHT pumpkin creamer! Ha ha! I gave myself a good laugh!

Lots has been happening but my daughter just messaged me from her room downstairs asking for an ice pack and a glass of ginger ale!  She  sprained her ankle badly a few days ago. --

Have a happy day today and remember to count your           blessings!

  1. I know that if i couldn't have that first cup of coffee right away I know my day would go down hill fast! I think we all have had something like the pear juice in the coffee -- it's funnier when it happens to someone else.
