The Backyard and Some Mystery Berries

It kind of looks like a dreary day out today, but that's OK, as long as the intense heat stays away. I went out back and took a few photos of the backyard this morning.
The grapes are slowly ripening, one by one here and there. I don't know if I should pick the ripe ones and stick them in the freezer till I get enough to do something with, or not. I tasted one yesterday. SOUR!!

This is our mystery squash growing in the vines along the side of the yard. I wonder what it will turn out to be?

This is in the end of the yard. We have a great canoe rack and a wonderful tall pine tree.

These are some berries I found sprinkled around the ground to the left of the pine tree.

I don't know what they are. They look like they have fallen from somewhere. But the only thing near is the pine tree and I am quite certain they aren't from that.

There is some pokeweed at the edge of the yard, not too far away, but as you can see, it's not even ripe yet.
I have to get out there today and chop that down!
So I am stumped. What are these berries? Anyone have any ideas? They are the size of a blueberry but blacker.

And of course ... last but not least...

and.....
