We have started back to school. Here is my scholar!
Looks ready for studying doesn't he? Ha Ha!
Actually, the first day was a little rough even though it was only a half day. But after a couple of months off, I should have expected a little resistance.
This is our classroom. Not too scenic of a view out the window, but at least we have a separate room for our classroom this year. It is nice to shut ourselves away to the noises of the household.
So.... we have started another school year. I pray for guidance everyday so I can make it fun and interesting and that he will be open for instruction.
Homeschooling is serious business. My sister was commenting on it yesterday. She said she never thought about it much before, but realizes it is quite an undertaking. It is. It is a lifestyle for those of us who homeschool. My motto has become "Life is school." We try to educate in most situations around us.
So ready or not..... It's school time again!!
Home schooling is quite a committment, but it must be a great learning experience for both student and teacher.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me - I've learned lots. I used to really dislike history when I was in school, but when I studied it with my son Andrew-- I fell in love with it!
