A Visit to Dicken's Village in Macys in Philadelphia, Pa.

We took a van load of Sunday School to Philadelphia.
We went to Macy's to see the light display.

Macy's was all decorated for Christmas.

And then we went to see Dicken's village as in The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

The ghost of Jacob Marley visiting Scrooge his old business partner.

Bob Crachett

Scrooge with the ghost of Christmas past.

The Ghost of Christmas present.

The ghost of Christmas future with Scrooge viewing a future scene in his life.

I really enjoyed the whole thing, but later my son J said he thought it was really creepy the way the figures moved slowly. They looked scary! And the next day in church one of the girls told me the same thing!
We just finished reading The Christmas Carol here at home, so J could at least identify the scenes in the story, creepy or not.

So that was our big outing on Saturday.
Back on the ranch,  daughter D was snuggling with the furry friends at home!
