Christmas was good this year. I loved every bit of it all. I savored it! Although I did catch myself being too much of a Martha and not enough of a Mary, (reflecting on the sisters Mary and Martha in the Bible), I tried to make sure things were as they should be --- warm and comfortable and full of love.

Our daughter in law M had never experienced a Christmas celebration. She is from Japan and that is overall not a Christian country. So we wanted to present our traditions to her so she could see how we do Christmas in our home.

And most of all it was Jesus birthday!
So now it is past. But the spirit still remains! I will try and keep up the decorations as long as possible. My sister from Florida is coming up in a week or two. We will have to see how long we can stretch the life of our tree. I guess today is the 7th day of Christmas. And by the way.......
