Flea market day!

I have been away from this blog for too long! I have been a very busy girl in the last couple of weeks! One thing that was happening is that my son J got his surgery for the OCD in his left knee. He had that last Thursday. Now it's back to the crutches and even using the wheel chair a little. He's 13 and doesn't want a lot of help! He's upstairs now taking his 1st shower since the surgery. I did insist he put shorts on afterwards though so I can change the dressing. He's still hurting a bit, but hasn't had any percocet today. We'll see how he does after the shower.

We went to our local flea market today. They have 2 indoor barns (long buildings) and a small thrift store and then outside tables too.

You never know what kind of treasures you might find.

Some people make their living just being venders at these flea markets and have a whole circuit they cover a couple of times a week. It's serious business for them.

I, myself,  just like to hunt around for something interesting.

The flea markets are only open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. During May to October they also have a rodeo on Saturday nights! It's a pretty exciting time if you are into the cowboys roping calves and riding bucking broncos!

Well--- now it's time for me to get back to chores. Break time is over. Saturday is usually my chore day, and I have lots to do, as usual. See you next time!
