Sunday Sunday

I have really got to get more creative with these titles for my blogs. Hmmm...
The winter blahs have been lifted a bit. I suddenly realized that's what was happening to me. I guess the lack of real snow brought me down. We had a little bit of snow and a little bit more is predicted for tonight, but oh well. I remember when we used to get LOTS of snow in South Jersey, but no more. Global warming I guess

One of my younger sisters, Ruth, came and stayed here for a few days. It was wonderful to visit and share memories of childhood times. This makes us sound ancient, but .... we haven't had the chance to do this in a long long time! She lives in Florida and hardly ever gets to come up and visit. She is a horse woman and that pretty much ties her up most of the time. And with my husband being a pastor, we are tied up most of the time too.

My older brother is staying at my mom's house right now too, so it's been a time of family reunions lately. I love it. My other younger sister was supposed to come up this weekend from Maryland, but she got the stomach virus and it hit her pretty hard. Poor girl. That's the pits!

So that's the newest news round here! We did get to our aunt and uncle's house to collect some furniture and odds and ends left to us from our grandmother who passed last August. It was a good visit.

Now it's time to go get the young teenager of the house up and stirring for church. He's taken to sleeping on the couch on the weekends. That way he can fall asleep to a movie on TV. His room doesn't have cable.

Have a great day y'all!

Peace out from my daughter D!!

  1. The snowy look of your blog page took me surprise. It's easy to forget about snow while here in FL, but even VT is not getting much this year. I hope it is not just waiting for our return in April.
I'm sure all the family time helped get you out of the winter blahs.
