On the 3rd day of Christmas...

Christmas was wonderful as ever this year. Our Angel in the house (his name is Angel) asked me what I like the best about Christmas. I told him I love having the family all together. I love that people in general are trying to be more loving to each other (there are of course the exceptions) and I love the music and decorations.

Stockings after Santa left!

We had a full house with 10 of us here. Good thing we have a large house! It is our tradition that the kids wait on the steps until the parents tell them to come down all the way on Christmas music. Now our youngest is 14 so this year he was protesting the tradition! Two of the brothers waited with him.

So it was merry kaos as usual after the stockings had been opened. Wrapping paper flew, smiles were     abundant! Our grandson and the two dogs played with the scraps!

Everything was busy and fun.

Later on we had a family dinner which all the kids- grown and not so grown- prepared. We had Grandmom here , plus my sister L and her husband, my brother D and his girlfriend too. I haven't shared a Christmas dinner with my brother since I was a little girl! So this was a very special dinner. There were 14 of us in all.

The other half of the table
It was all in all a very nice day. ~~
Yesterday our son A took off to drive back north to home. It was having a big time blizzard there,
so he stayed over in a town nearby at a friend's house instead of driving through the blizzard in a heavy snow storm. ~ This morning our son N, daughter in law M and grandson E left on a flight to Japan- to visit with her family. I know they will all be overjoyed to see each other again and especially the little one who is 15 months old now.
I have been tracking their flight which will be about 12 or 13 hours. I hope the little man won't be too antsy! That is a very long trip for a little one!
Well-- I have some chores to do, but I think I will slip in a little nap before the chores.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will have a great New Year too!

Merry Christmas.

Our Grandpuppy Yuka!
