Knee Replacements and Thanksgiving Plans

My husband is back in rehab today. --- This past Monday he had surgery to replace his left knee. He had his right one replaced in February of this year. He spent 3 days in the hospital, now he has 7 days that the insurance will pay for rehab. They already had him walking with the walker at the hospital, so I know he will push himself and get all he can out of the rehab. One unfortunate side affect is the percoset. Last time he was on it, he became very negative. Already I have noticed that he can be very profound or very negetive. Today I heard his speaking on the phone to a close friend. He gave him some very profound and meaningful words.  But just a little later, he spoke very rudely to me. He didn't even realize it. I don't know. He definately reacts to the meds..

It seems like Thanksgiving has started to really creep up on us!!! I'm not sure how it's all going to work for us exactly. Our friends from Pa. say they cant make it this year! I was really looking forward to seeing them. So we are minus 8 people according who has to work or not. There will be either 7 or 11 people.  With my husband, Dave, still recouping and all, maybe it will go easier this year with a few fewer people.

Well - I will post another day. I am growing weary already. I have had a long day and I have found lately that when I get tired,  that I can hardly write or anything. I kind of shut down.

                                                                 Happy rest of November.
