I haven't posted in about a month although it seems longer. I have been extremely busy and my computer wasn't letting me on. I tried posting from my Ipad but I didn't remember my password. The PC at least has it memorized! - Anyway- we had a good thanksgiving with family and friends. We put the extra leaf in the table and had an extra kids table too. I love turkey so I was happy! I love having a big family dinner too so that was great. I do have one son, my oldest, who is an introvert who doesn't like the big family dinners. He doesn't enjoy visiting with family that he is not very familiar with. My niece was here and we haven't seen her since she was about 12. She's 30 something now. She's so much fun. - but my son was feeling awkward, I think. Oh well- you can't please everyone! -- Now it is the Christmas season, with Christmas day just a few days past. I did all of the Christmas shopping since my husband is still recouping from his knee surgery of November. It is strange when you think about all the time I spent shopping for bargains, and then it's over so fast! My son A- third down from the oldest, brought home his newish girlfriend J. She's a nice girl and we enjoyed spending time with her. -- My husband gave me a new GPS for Christmas and a Yoga kit which includes 3 yoga DVDs and I don't know what else. I picked it out, but didn't open it yet.
So for Christmas dinner it was a repeat of Thanksgiving with Ham instead of Turkey. And a slight change of cast. -- Between Thanksgiving and Christmas there was a bit of rukus with the two oldest kids I have at home. Very nerve racking and my blood pressure shot way up. Now I have been checking it about once a day. I haven't been back to the doctor. I already take a small dose of blood pressure meds, and I don't want to increase it. I think once I get into this Yoga that will help.
In church yesterday, one of our oldest saints died. Also the brother in law of a good friend died after a long battle with cancer. My husband is doing the service sometime soon. The other service too. -- But I do go by the old saying- deaths come in 3s. My hubby says that's superstitious, but I don't care. Now I am wondering when the 3 person will be dieing. Morbid I know, bu t I'm wondering.
Well, do think I need a nap. My eyelids are growing heavy. I will write again later. --
Good to hear from you after so long. I am about to embark on a yoga journey myself--signing up at the Y here. THey have some really good classes so i am told. Best wishes for Happy and Healthy New Year.
