A March Snow Storm

We are having what has been described as a super snow storm. They gave the kids off of school. It didn't start actually snowing until about 8 am. But it's been coming down all day. Hopefully this will be our finale to the winter. I do like winter but this one didn't have snow till late and I haven't been able to really get out and enjoy it this year for various reasons.

I am looking forward to spring. I am looking forward to the gardens and flowers and green grass. -----

Our son and grandson and his mama are coming to visit at the end of this month! Yea! I do so miss them! Especially the little guy. We are taking them to the NJ aquarium. They have some kind of display of dinosaurs of the deep. And they have penguins there too! I think it will be fun.

Our grandson is looking forward to meeting his new baby cousin. I think he may be a wee bit disappointed when he discovers that she can't run and play just yet! --
The sweater I have been working on is almost done. I had it just about done the end of last summer when we went to visit but discovered it was too small. I had to rip it out and start all over. I have one sleeve that I could finish this week, and then a zipper to put in. I am going to ask a friend to help me with that. And then I have to pray that it will fit him when he gets here. I am making it in a size 6. He is 3 1/2 but he's a big boy. I dooooo hope it fits!

Well- our daughter arrived home last night from rehab. It is the most wonderful thing to have her back in good shape! It is so good. She now has to keep up with the program of staying sober. Her birth mother handed that package down to her children- the one of the tendency for addiction. I praise God our daughter has learned skills to help her deal with this in her life. I know it will be very hard at times, but she is very optimistic. --

I hear the little one calling so I think I need to end this post.
Have a great rest of your day and upcoming weekend!

  1. Addictions are so rough to manage, but your daughter is lucky to have strong family support. I sure hope that the chain is broken for your adorable granddaughter.
