July 9th

Hello out there in blog land! I have been yearning to get back to this computer and to the Blogger site for a few weeks now, but alas I have been pretty busy. Raising our 6 month old granddaughter does keep me busy and when she goes to bed at night even though it's not that late- between 7:30 to 8:30- I am tired by then and try to relax with some knitting and maybe a TV show. Most times it seems that my hubby has the world championship soccer on or it was baseball before that. Then my son J had all the basketball on when ever he could. So I resign myself to the sports. They aren't so bad. Actually I quite enjoy them, but not as much as in person. Basketball is my favorite. Son J says he will be on the team again this year!

Our son J just turned 17. Surprisingly he hasn't been chomping at the bit about getting his license. He took drivers ed in school and didn't pass the written test so he's a bit bummed about that. But I do want to take him over to the DMV (division of motor vehicles) to get going with the written test again. Of course the only car he will be able to drive is my Sanata. The poor girl has attained scratches and some bumps. Some scratches were put there on purpose, but I won't go into that now. 

The little grand daughter just turned 6 months on the 1st of July. 
She is rolling all over now. I am supposed to be helping her get used to sitting up. She can't do it on her own yet. Oops- she just woke up so I will finish this up with a few pictures next nap time!
