June's almost gone!

I can hardly believe that June is almost over. Well, at least half over! I have to get out and do some summer activities like go to the lake or my friend's pool! I also have some outside chores I want to get done. I want to use the wire brush and brush down the metal table on the porch and spray paint it white again. I've been wanting to do this for a long time! Another chore is to exchange my kitchen table with one in the basement which isn't as large. I will have to put legs on the table in the basement if I use that one. .....

The last day of school is next week. The 23rd. I think we had a lot of snow days this year that they hadn't planned on. Today is a half day though. My son took in a bunch of candy to give to friends.

The baby was hard to put down for a nap today. Yesterday we visited some friends who are getting ready to move. We will still be able to see them later, but we drove up to see them in Long Branch near the shore in North Jersey. It took us 1 1/2 hours to drive up there and 3 hours back because we made 2 wrong turns and then the cars on the high way were so backed up! Old friends are always good to see. 

Baby A slept the whole time in the car. I was worried about when she would go to bed, but she went by 8:30 so it wasn't bad. Thank God! I was exhausted. So was my hubby!

Well- looking at my clock above my desk it is 5:53. It is always 5:53 on that clock! The battery died and I can't reach it to change it. Once in a while I forget and panic when I see it! - I'll get my husband to get it when he comes in. But... I didn't have much breakfast so I am going to go find something to eat and maybe another cup of coffee. -- Have a blessed day!
