June- summer is here!

 

 

Summer is basically here even though the kids still have a few weeks of school left. I am easing into summer. I am enjoying some of the cooler days to help us into the warmer (hot) days of summer to come!

Time is marching on as it always does. Our little one here at our house is getting so big!

 

 

 

She is 5 months old now. Seems like it was only  yesterday that she was born! Yesterday- the real one- she had her first cereal. Rice of course.

 

 

She wasn't too sure of what it was all about, but after a few minutes she was grabbing my hand for more!

 

 Some of the happenings that have come and gone since I last have written here are the pastor's conference at the shore, and Mother's day.

 

Conference was fun at Wildwood -down the shore- as they say! We took our youngest son with us and he brought a friend. It's always good to see old friends there!

And I love seeing the ocean there too. The negative about conference this year is that my husband seemingly has lost our camera. It was a good one too!

 

Mother's day was nice. We had dinner with family here at our house.

 

And surrounding all of this all has been baseball. Our son J is playing. He has started pitching so that's lots of fun to watch.

 

 

 

There are some other things I wanted to write about but they will have to wait till next time. I am tired and the baby is sleeping so I am going to try and catch a cat nap. We have baseball again tonight which will probably not be done till 8 or 9.
