It was another busy day for me today but I truly was blessed.
I was working hard cleaning and straightening the kitchen and getting chores done. I was feeling overwhelmed.
My hubby said he would put the baby down for a nap. I went on with things and noticed how quiet it was in the living room where they were. So I tiptoed to the door and this is what I found!
I just stood at the door of the living room and started laughing! Who put who to sleep? I needed that laugh! Ha Ha!
So... I have been busy most of the day with chores and baby care. I do not complain about the baby care. In fact, even though I do grow weary sometimes, I am so grateful for this time with my little grand daughter. I know all too well how fast babies grow up. I am enjoying all the little smiles and kisses and even the diapers aren't so bad. ~ A friend said that I am where God wants me right now.
So true.
This is our cat Zoey. This is an old photo. She is quite a bit fatter now. In fact, she is called Fat Cat most of the time. She is on a diet which doesn't really seem to phase her. She gets just one cup of dry cat food a day. In the morning she gets a large table spoon of Sheba cat food. She will only eat the pate kind. ~ Well, lately she has been behaving strangely. She did have a few fleas and I put some of the flea stuff on her neck, but she still is acting strange. She never has been a social cat, but now she's more odd then usual.
She dashes through rooms. No walking. She dashes into the basement when the door is open for any reason. She has scratched a raw place on her side which I put some antibiotic cream on. I will continue to spray with flea spray and I just put some flea stuff on the back of her neck. That helped.
Another strange thing she did was to run outside when I put the dog out. She hasn't been out in 9 years at least. She's an inside cat and has always been afraid of going out. She just slipped right out and walked into the back yard. When I called her she came right back in. She did the same thing with our son D when he was here! My other son who has 3 cats, says he thinks she is disturbed by having a baby in the house who is becoming more and more mobile. ~ Maybe.
Well... it's time for me to turn in. I am hearing the baby's toy in her crib which plays when you turn a wheel. I hope she's not awake!
Here's a picture to close out this post. Good night all.
Be blessed and be a blessing to someone else.
