Well, Spring has finally sprung around here. We are far behind South Jersey where we used to live, but none the less, we are starting to bloom now.
My hubby likes to use tires for some smaller garden separations. These are Irises and I forget what he told me the other one was.
Here's a few crocuses too!
After Easter we took a trip to Maryland. It was a trip to visit family we haven't seen in 2 years because of Covid. It was a good trip. Not long enough of course, but good. We went down Monday right after Easter and came back Wednesday. We stopped at a brewery for lunch. It was a neat place and apparently, they have many activities during the week like karaoke, bingo, open mike and live music. They asked if we were there for Bingo. We weren't much to our granddaughter's disappointment!! Ha Ha!
It was lots of fun and after we had gone about half an hour out of town, we stopped and there was a clearing covered with Easter eggs. The bunny himself was there too!

She really did like the mac and cheese despite the face! Why they serve french fries with mac and cheese I don't understand! |
So, it was a good trip. Before the trip was Easter. We had a hunt and went on the Bunny Express. It was an old train- not antique- that took us out of town and to the bunny himself and a field full of eggs. The kids had never been on a train before so that in itself was exciting!
We also had a nice time at church in the morning at church. It was a busy but sweet day. Actually, the train ride was on Saturday. Easter was on Sunday. We had dinner at our son and his wife's house on Easter Sunday.
Today I have gotten some chores done with more to do. Always more to do! I just rejoined weight watchers. I am going to try and lose some weight before the summer. I think I just heard my husband drive into the yard. Both dogs perked up! They love their daddy!
So, I guess I have just been rambling on, but that's how the day is today. Just a home day to do chores and ramble away! Have a good one!
Numbers 6:24 "May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you......"
Happy Spring! I do love the enthusiasm of daffodils.
